What would you do if your home was being overrun with rats?
Most people would call for a rodent or pest control exterminator, or set out poisons or traps.
But there are other ways that don’t require using poison which is dangerous and toxic for all creatures, great and small.
That includes you, your pets, and the wildlife that normally prey on rodents too. You don’t want that.
And trapping takes a great deal of time to do and you never know for sure if you got all of the rats or not.
There is another way, a much better way so solve these kinds of problems.
Let me tell you how I solved a serious rat problem using animal communication.
I listened in dismay as my clients told me about their lovely home and property and how it was being overrun by rats.
They had been in severe drought.
Construction was taking place in the area, displacing the wildlife even more.
And the rats were hungry and hangry!
Chewing holes through the door screens and wiring and the home’s siding.
Running around inside their house and in their garage…
Scaring them at night while they were trying to sleep…
Stealing their cat’s and dog’s food…
Making godawful messes.
It was horrifying!
Not to mention very dangerous for everyone concerned.
Being animal lovers themselves, they didn’t want to have to resort to killing the rats or using poison.
Was it possible for me to talk to the rats and explain the problem so we could work together to find a solution?
Maybe together we could find a solution that would work for everyone so they can live in peace and harmony?
Of course it’s possible!
I absolutely love facilitating these kinds of conversations.
They are always fascinating and often very complex with surprising and interesting results.
And so we gave it a try!
Here’s how I negotiated the conversation with the rats.
I tuned in using the proprietary techniques I’ve developed to work with groups/herds/family packs/colonies that I teach in the Advanced Animal Talk Mastery course.
First I connected with the rat colony using group consciousness energetics.
Then I asked to speak with the rat matriarch and scanned intuitively until I found and identified her.
Once I had the rat matriarch’s attention…
I greeted her with respect and told her we were very sorry that she and her rat tribe community had been displaced and were hungry and thirsty.
We understood how that felt and empathized.
I felt her sadness, worry and weariness.
I told her we had a problem we needed her help to solve and that we wanted to help.
Surprised and encouraged, she agreed to listen.
I carefully explained the situation and expressed my client’s (the humans) viewpoint.
We talked about the 2 big dogs and the kitty cat (and yes, we included them in the conversation so we had a meeting of all our minds and hearts).
Explaining the issue
I told her that chewing through wiring was unsafe and a fire hazard.
The rat chewing could be electrocuted and the entire place could go up in flames! Yikes!
I shared our concerns for the well-being and safety of everyone involved.
The mamma rat expressed her sorrow and determination to take care of her family, but they were hungry and thirsty and didn’t know what else to do or where else to go.
So my clients said they were willing to put food and water outside for them if they would simply leave the house and garage alone.
I then asked the mamma rat if she thought that would help and she was so excited!
She told me she’d never before negotiated or communicated so clearly with a human before.
Based on their shared memories and experiences with humans, she and most of her kind despaired of such a thing ever actually happening.
We had tears in our eyes, feeling her appreciation and gratitude as well as the depth of the love and connection welling up inside.
So my clients agreed to put water and food out every day under a certain agreed upon tree out a little ways from the house, and that they would do it daily without fail.
Even when they went on vacation they had their pet sitter continue to do it.
In exchange, mamma rat said she would tell all her rats to not mess with the house itself.
And so it was.
They never broke their word.
My clients said they didn’t see any more rats inside the house and there was no more damage done to the house or garage.
No more messes.
No resorting to rat poison or trapping.
Happy people, happy rats, and the dogs and kitty were happy too!
They only had love and respect for each other.
All summer long up until a few weeks ago when my clients noticed the rats weren’t eating the food anymore.
The timing coincided with more rain and blossoming in the countryside.
When I tuned back into the matriarch mamma rat, she said thank you!
She expressed appreciation for helping them through the long dry summer.
They didn’t need the extra food anymore, there was bounty all around.
Moral of the story is: It’s important to know how to communicate with animals!!
And if you can communicate with groups of animals, wild or domestic, with such great results?
Wow! That’s a game changer.
