Read MoreLike with any skill, your competency and proficiency at communication with animals will increase with proper practice and use. Earlier this last week I got the message that one of our student’s pets was ill and needed help. I was not just chilling and hanging out in my sanctuary with nothing to do but focus and access higher healing energies and engage in communication with animals with a pet halfway around the world at the time. No, it was my day off and I was driving around running errands. And, I don’t normally do emergency sessions. I unplug and go offline on my days off. But it felt urgent. The Universe brought the situation to my attention, and I felt compelled to do what I could to help. So, still watching the road and paying attention to my driving, I simply shifted my subtle focus. Read MorePet names aren’t just for your sweetheart… You have to make sure you are using the correct pet name for your animals. Years ago I was called in to assist a well known and respected quarter horse trainer with a mare he was having trouble with. When I arrived at the ranch, we walked over to her stall and I introduced myself. He went on to explain that she just didn’t seem to understand what he wanted her to do. He’d worked with her for several months now and wasn’t getting anywhere. Although he was very patient and careful to explain things, he’d begun to wonder if she was in pain. I have lost many cats during my years as a pet lover, and all of them have left me feeling devastated with a long period of mourning and unresolved feelings of guilt, anger, and sorrow. I read that it was important for animals to choose when they will pass away when they have to pass away, and that often times they needed to say goodbye to their companions or had last messages to give etc. I decided right then and there that I needed to learn animal communication, so when my […]
Read MoreStudents have differing reactions and stuck spots when first communicating with animals My student/client said, “I’m so afraid to know what my pet is thinking and feeling… I realized that all I do is talk over her, but I don’t really listen to her. I override her thoughts and feelings with my own projections of guilt, pain, judgment, thoughts, feelings, and internalizing.” Ouch. And so, we started unpacking that together, lovingly and gently healing the wounds, clearing the old stuck spots, and letting go of that which wasn’t helping either her or her pet. Because communicating with animals depends on your ability to heal so you can hear what’s being said without the filter of your wounds. If you’re too afraid to find out what they are thinking or feeling when you’re communicating with animals, then you’re projecting your own trauma drama onto them. via GIPHY Perpetuating your fear and […]
