The Key to Happiness, Joy and Success What a joy! Sometimes turning the smallest hinge can open the BIGGEST doors in our lives. Turning lives around quickly is my specialty, what I love doing the most. Just this past week, I worked with a client who was so stressed out she could hardly hold it together and was ready to quit altogether… nothing was working for her. Her finances were terrible, her cat just died, she got bad news about a lawsuit she was involved in, couldn’t get anyone to help her… her situation was dire indeed. Yet, in just one hour, she made a HUGE shift – primarily due to this one critically important KEY to being happier, healthier and more successful. She’s making new connections, is feeling enormously better, is Out Of The Box and making fantastic changes for herself. She feels more empowered and is definitely happier. Want to […]

Read MoreWhat do you look for when checking how your horse’s blanket fits? Good Fit A horse blanket that fits well will not be too tight or loose in any one area. Most blankets have many adjustable elements, but the length must be correct. The blanket should cover your horse from withers to tail without too much overhang, and without pulling in any section. Too Large A horse blanket that is too big for your horse can move around on his body, causing a potentially unsafe situation if he steps on it or gets his leg caught in a strap. A loose blanket is also less effective at keeping out winter weather. Too Small If your horse has a blanket that is too small, it may leave some parts of his body exposed to the elements. Tight-fitting sections can also rub out his hair or lead to sores. A small blanket […]
Read MoreHorse Vaccination Strategies This article courtesy of  HorseChannel.com, This article was previously published October 15, 2013, and was updated on April 20, 2023. Vaccinating your horse against disease is such a simple task. It’s not terribly time consuming, and it’s relatively inexpensive when you consider the alternative. But some people don’t vaccinate. Lack of concern regarding disease risk, and skepticism about horse vaccine safety and efficacy are among the reasons given. We’ve asked veterinarians who work for leading vaccine manufacturers to explain vaccination protocols, and to address safety and efficacy issues. Their responses are surprisingly candid and may have you rethinking your horse’s healthcare schedule. A Case for Safety There is an extensive amount of time, money and resources involved in the research and development of a horse vaccine. Generally speaking, it takes three to four years of time and millions of dollars spent before a vaccine gets licensing from the […]
Read MoreFocus on the solution not the problem I’ve been following the AI (artificial intelligence) news lately, and I have to say, it’s pretty fascinating what can be done with it. Aside from the argument whether AI is good or bad, it occurred to me to share this intriguing insight about pet problem solving with you. It’s one we recently discussed in a live Q&A Coaching Call class, and, it’s something which I often remind private clients and students about too. That’s especially important when they feel stuck or blocked. It’s astonishing how quickly this insight changes things too, sort of like how tiny hinges can open big doors. This concept is super important because students can literally block themselves (and the animals’ ability to respond and communicate with them) by asking the wrong questions, in the wrong way or timing, and they don’t even know they are focusing on the […]
